For the most part this place isn't the prettiest on the eyes however a lot of their dishes made up for that.

We had a big party of friends and family eat here over the lunch hour and to our surprise very happy with our service and the food.

They are very reasonable for pricing and also good quality. We ordered set menus that are usually for dinner time but we did it for our lunch as we had so many guests.

Dishes that we tried included fish soup, sweet-and-sour pork ribs, fried smelt fish, jellyfish, pickled chicken feet, lobster crusted with salted duck egg yolk, Cantonese chow mein, fried oysters in a sweet and spicy sauce, Fried rice with lobster roe, Black pepper beef, and much more !

The most memorable items for myself is the seafood. The oysters were fried to perfection and came out piping hot with just the right amount of sauce drizzled over the top. The oysters were fresh and also shucked properly as there was no shell bits.

It was like a luxurious fish and chips but with oysters accompanied by candied walnuts.

Second item that is the craze right now is salted duck egg yolk and that plus lobster is the perfect combination. This came out also piping hot and the crusted egg yolk over the shells and meat of the lobster was so delicious as it was sweet ( lobster meat ) meets salty ( yolk )!!!!

Thirdly I would love to mention the sweet-and-sour pork ribs. It was thick cut and marinated to perfection. The meat was very tender and not over cooked in the fryer at all then perfectly glazed with sweet-and-sour sauce and a medley of vegetables.

10 out of 10 would recommend this restaurant to people even coming just for a simple lunch or dinner as it has great value, pricing, service, selection, location and taste.

We've been going to this restaurant for almost 20 years for both lunch and dim sum. It holds a special place for my wife and I and no matter how many newer dim sum restaurants we go to, we seem to always go back to this one.

This place is always packed, and the wait time can be insane on weekend mornings. We usually go around noon; less crowded.

The service here is pretty good. The workers here are always available to help you, even when they are busy running around, they always seem to remember what you asked for.

The place is not as spacious as most newer restaurants and for that reason, we usually aim for the booths.

Full House is a great option when you wake up late and still seeking for discount dim sum. Unlike other restaurants, there is no line up when you arrive at 9:30 am.

Overall, the items are average to mediocre. Nothing to really write home about. They used to have one of the best vegetarian dumplings. But for some odd reason, the wrappers are now extremely thick and doughy. It is a blasphemy. Tofu rice rolls are okay. Again, the rice roll part is a little thick. I would love for it to be thinner.

The price for tea per person is cheaper than other places and often, the fee is waived.

Visit Full House if you are seeking tea but just can't get up early enough to compete with seniors for a table before 11:00 am when the discount ends!

Another solid and consistent Chinese dinner at Full House, where there really is not bad dish nor a truly inventive out of this world Chinese dish. I describe Full House as your go-to neighborhood Chinese restaurant. To elevate the experience, they could reinvest into the restaurant and upgrade the furnishings and decor. The food all came out fairly quickly from the kitchen. Service was fairly attentive where they replaced our dirty plates midway into the meal. There is also ample parking outside.

If my friend hadn't recommended this place, I'd have ran out upon entering.

    Pros
+ Plenty of other restaurants are around. It's easy to walk out and find something better that's walking distance.
    + Quick service

    Cons
    - Parking is hard to find
    - Menus are only available in Chinese.
    - Ambiance is loud and full of ruckus.

I'm a frequent patron of dim sum/Chinese afternoon tea. While I understand the hustle and bustle that is common in these restaurants, this experience left a lot to be desired.
